The RBI Network main objective is to enable information sharing between members and act as a tool for communication for those who are working in the river basin, water resource, wetland and environmental management field. It is also a means for the RBI Secretariat to update all interested parties on the Initiative's activities and development.

The RBI Secretariat would like to invite you, onbehalf of the RamsarConvention and Convention onBiological Diversity (CBD), to join RBI Network which consist of an e-group (River-Basin-Initiative) and an information portal (RBI Portal). Members of the RBI Network will also receive free subscription to our biannual newsletter 'RBI News'.

Feel free to share any information and materials of your current or past projects/programmes. Members are also welcome to post requests and enquiries (for information, guidance, experience etc.) to the e-group and portal. Discussions among members are encouraged as this will help to bridge the communication gap between natural resource managers, environmental managers, researchers and policy makers around the world.
